For the ceremony, Pete and I just know that we want to keep it relatively short and sweet. We do plan to have Pete's godfather sing a song during the ceremony. We are going to use an organist for the processional and recessional, and we will use a CD with our favorite love songs to be played during the pew dismissal. I'm not crazy about the idea of the pew dismissal but my mom, DOC and fiance are really pushing for it.
We will be having an evening wedding, so we will have candlelight down the aisle with orchids coming out of the candelabras. We will also have two floral arrangements on the altar candelabras. Up by the altar area there are choir pews that seat about 20-30 people. We are may not to use these so we can pull the ceremony closer to the crowd. If our RSVPs require us to use them for the seating of close family, then we will keep our bridesmaids and groomsmen down near the steps and just me, my fiance and Pam will be at the altar.
